Korea Trading Controls Specialist (Fintech): Designing and implementing pre- and post-trade controls for Korea-focused trading activity in collaboration with trading, compliance, business development, and technology teams with an accent on exchange rules, short-selling regulations, and electronic trading systems. Focus on interpreting regulatory requirements, gathering market feedback from brokers and counterparties, and evaluating how new trading flows interact with the controls framework.

What you will do

Interpret, design, and implement pre- and post-trade controls for Korea-focused trading activity.
Gather feedback from brokers and exchanges on Korea UTP, short-selling rules, and other trading sensitivities.
Build relationships with onshore counterparties to assess regulatory and market sentiment.
Translate regulatory interpretations into the controls framework with business development, trading, compliance, and technology teams.
Monitor new trading flows and evaluate their interaction with existing controls.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience designing and implementing trading controls.
Strong knowledge of Korea exchange rules; broader APAC experience is beneficial.
Experience with electronic trading regulations and system design.
Experience working with developers; coding skills are beneficial but not required.
Fluent English and Korean.
