TL;DR
Product Owner (Machine Learning): Driving the execution of ML-based capabilities for biometric authentication and document verification with an accent on production readiness and fraud risk alignment. Location: Must be based in LATAM (Remote-friendly, with optional work from the San Diego, CA office)
Salary: $115,000 – $140,000 a year

What you will do
- Own and manage the backlog for ML-driven biometric and document verification capabilities.
- Translate fraud, identity, and customer requirements into clear, actionable ML work items.
- Partner with ML engineers and data scientists to refine problem statements and evaluate tradeoffs.
- Oversee the model lifecycle, including training, evaluation, deployment, and drift detection.
- Define labeling schemas and workflows to ensure data quality and coverage across geographies.
- Incorporate adversarial thinking to ensure models are resilient to spoofs and deepfakes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in product ownership or delivery-focused roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting ML-based products in production.
- Strong working knowledge of computer vision, face matching, and liveness detection.
- Experience with document verification, classification, or fraud detection.
- Ability to articulate ML concepts, risks, and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in LATAM
Nice to have
- Experience in fraud, identity, or regulated environments such as fintech.
- Familiarity with model monitoring, drift management, and feedback loops.
- Experience working with global document types and jurisdictional variations.
