What you will do

• Develop complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from BigQuery for Power BI models.
• Update database structures to support star schema models in collaboration with data engineering.
• Define and document data requirements for new source data to enable effective pipeline development.
• Test and validate data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the foundational database.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation on team dataflows and database architecture for stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data modeling, data analysis, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in complex SQL queries for large dataset manipulation.
• Experience with BigQuery or similar data warehousing platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data governance and best practices.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
