We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with Fiori/UI5 experience to join an international SAP project on a full-time remote basis.
The specialist will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions using ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, and related SAP technologies. The role involves both backend ABAP development and frontend Fiori/UI5 application development, including custom applications, extensions, integrations, and technical support for SAP business processes.
Key responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, including custom apps, extensions, and enhancements.
• Develop backend solutions using ABAP programming, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Create and maintain OData services using SAP Gateway.
• Build responsive and intuitive applications based on SAP Fiori design principles.
• Customize UI/UX according to specific user roles and business requirements.
• Develop ABAP solutions according to technical and functional design documents.
• Support workflow development and integration scenarios, including PI/PO interfaces.
• Configure and enhance SAP modules using ABAP development tools and SAP standard approaches.
• Integrate Fiori applications with SAP modules and external systems.
• Participate in project work across SAP modules including MM, HCM, SD, FI/CO, PS, and CS.
• Work closely with architects, analysts, functional consultants, and other IT delivery teams to understand business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development deliverables.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in complex code reviews and provide technical feedback.
• Document technical designs, development logic, and implementation details for future reference.
• Provide post-implementation support and technical assistance for SAP solutions.
• Cooperate with portal development and UI/UX teams where required.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and share best practices in ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP, debugging, enhancements, forms, workflows, and interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Gateway and OData services.
• Expertise in SAPUI5 framework, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web-based applications.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and SAPUI5 controls.
• Experience with SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse, or ABAP Workbench.
• Knowledge of SAP architecture, integration techniques, and SAP module interactions.
• Experience with SAP modules such as MM, HCM, SD, FI/CO, PS, and CS.
• Ability to work with functional teams and convert functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow SAP development standards and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice to have:
• Knowledge and experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with ABAP Web Dynpro, including RFC, Web Services, Internal/External Context Mapping, Eventing, Navigation, Adaptive RFC, Custom Components, Interfaces, and Usage.
• Experience with NetWeaver Development Infrastructure, including NWDI Tracks, SCs, and DCs.
• Experience with Floor Plan Manager.
• SAP certification in ABAP, SAP Fiori, or SAPUI5 development.
