We are looking for a Senior SAP PS Functional Consultant to join an international SAP project on a full-time remote basis.
The specialist will be responsible for SAP Project System configuration, business process support, financial integration, project planning, budgeting, cost and revenue control, results analysis, and project lifecycle activities. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP PS and solid understanding of integration with FI/CO, SD, HR/CATS, and procurement processes.
Key responsibilities:
• Configure and support SAP Project System functionality based on business requirements.
• Work with Project Definitions, WBS structures, networks, activities, milestones, and project hierarchy.
• Configure and support project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost/revenue planning processes.
• Set up and support Results Analysis, settlement, revenue recognition, and project financial reporting.
• Ensure proper integration between SAP PS and FI/CO, including cost planning, actual postings, commitments, settlements, and reporting.
• Support integration with SD, HR/CATS, and procurement processes, including PO/PR commitments.
• Work with CO versions, value categories, cost elements, and financial controlling structures.
• Support Budget Information System and project budget control processes.
• Analyze, optimize, and document SAP PS-related business processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP/Fiori developers for custom developments, enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.
• Support data migration activities related to SAP PS master and transactional data.
• Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
• Support project closing, project extensions, and lifecycle management activities.
• Collaborate with business users, finance teams, project managers, payroll consultants, procurement teams, and IT delivery teams.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP PS processes.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and user guides.
• Provide guidance on SAP PS best practices and standard SAP functionality.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience as an SAP PS Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Project System configuration.
• Deep knowledge of Project Definitions, WBS, networks, activities, project structures, and master data.
• Strong experience with Results Analysis, settlement, cost/revenue planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Solid understanding of SAP FI/CO integration with SAP PS.
• Experience with SD, HR/CATS, and procurement integration scenarios.
• Knowledge of PO/PR commitments and project-related procurement processes.
• Experience with Budget Information System and project financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PS functional solutions.
• Experience preparing functional specifications for ABAP/Fiori developments, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.
• Experience with SAP PS data migration activities.
• Strong understanding of SAP best practices, project accounting, and end-to-end project lifecycle processes.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, defect analysis, and post-go-live support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice to have:
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• SAP PS certification.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to SAP PS.
• Experience in international SAP implementation or rollout projects.
• Understanding of payroll-related project cost allocation scenarios.
