What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve Ruby on Rails applications supporting business-critical workflows.
• Work within monolithic architectures while contributing to modernization and architectural improvements.
• Implement backend features, integrations, and business logic using Ruby and Rails.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and maintain legacy frontend components where required.
• Participate in the implementation of Event-Driven Design and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, automation, and operational improvements using modern DevOps practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the European Union and hold a valid work permit.
• Strong commercial experience with Ruby on Rails and the Ruby ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of monolithic application architectures and backend design.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using RSpec or Minitest.
• Practical experience with MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, and Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and container orchestration concepts like Kubernetes.
• Experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity.
