What you will do

• Drive technical decisions and design high-performance, high-quality software solutions.
• Write efficient, modular, and self-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to drive successful squad outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to discover and estimate strategic initiatives.
• Research new technologies, create POCs, and enhance the overall developer experience.
• Break down complex problems into impactful milestones and deliver value incrementally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years as a senior engineer.
• Expertise in API design (REST, RPC) using protobuf, gRPC, and OpenAPI.
• Experience with microservices and tools like Docker, ECS, Lambda, SQS, and Kinesis.
• Proficiency with persistence and caching mechanisms (MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, S3).
• Mastery of PHP or Go.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
