What you will do

• Train, monitor, and develop personnel within the Maps and Records department.
• Review, approve, and post mapping and records projects.
• Maintain and update backlog databases in Rhode Island Energy GIS applications to ensure safe public gas facility operation.
• Generate performance reports monitoring Safety, KPIs, and Compliance metrics.
• Manage the Record Retention database and process historical documents for storage.
• Design and develop QA/QS procedures for upstream gas Workorder processes to improve cycle time.

Requirements

• Associate degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Mapping, Engineering, or GIS in a supervisory or drafting capacity.
• Knowledge of Esri GIS Enterprise Systems and the Utility Network.
• Proven supervisory skills to direct, motivate, and instruct personnel.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and municipal codes and regulations.
• Must be based in and work 100% onsite in Providence, RI.
