What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and manage general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records for fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments, and review AP/AR transactions.
• Manage VAT returns, corporate tax filings, and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations.
• Coordinate external audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide management insights.
• Mentor junior accountants and recommend improvements to accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
• English language proficiency.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with VAT and tax for Cyprus companies.
• Experience in the preparation of management accounts and involvement in company audits.
