Detection & Corporate Security Engineer (AI)

Salary: $172,279 - $249,640 USD (US candidates)

What you will do

• Build and maintain a SIEM to collect logs and deploy detections for malicious behavior.
• Design and deploy canary tokens and early warning mechanisms for threat detection.
• Investigate security incidents including malware analysis and timeline reconstruction.
• Partner with IT to enforce security standards across the employee device fleet.
• Drive the implementation of Zero-Trust VPN and corporate security infrastructure.
• Provide security advisory support to non-engineering teams across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada
• 5+ years of experience in security or detection engineering.
• Strong Python engineering skills with production code experience.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM infrastructure and endpoint security tools like CrowdStrike.
• Familiarity with identity platforms (Okta) and authentication technology (OAuth, Passkey).
• Experience with Zero-Trust network architecture and cloud-native security (AWS).
• Availability for meetings during coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
