What you will do

• Architect and develop Kotlin-based microservices for inventory management, auction listings, bids, payments, and financial operations.
• Write clean, testable code following functional programming principles using Arrow.
• Optimize Azure SQL, Redis, and CosmosDB data models to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Build and deploy services within Azure cloud-native infrastructure using AKS and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and Argo.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams and architects to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in server-side development with strong JVM and Kotlin proficiency.
• Proven experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native architecture and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with relational databases (Azure SQL) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps).
• Deep understanding of distributed system patterns, security principles, and data privacy.
• Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.
• Expertise in non-relational databases like Redis and CosmosDB.
• Experience with functional languages (e.g., Scala) or frameworks like Arrow.
• Proven track record of mentoring other developers.
• Advanced skills in performance testing and optimization.
