What you will do

• Test localized games in German to identify and report linguistic, textual, and functional bugs.
• Serve as the primary linguistic point of reference for the German language to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Mentor and support other testers, providing linguistic guidance and assistance.
• Lead small to medium-sized LQA projects, acting as the main contact for clients and internal teams.
• Train new team members and manage their onboarding process.
• Evaluate language tests for applicants to assist in the recruitment process.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in German with excellent grammar, spelling, and localization skills.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal) as it is the primary office language.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in LQA testing or a related localization/QA role.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or DevTrack.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience in mentoring or supervising others.
• Must be able to work on-site in Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Previous experience specifically as a Senior LQA tester.
• Background in localization, linguistics, or game development.
• Additional multilingual skills.
• Familiarity with localization tools like memoQ, SDL Trados, or Xbench.
