What you will do

• Develop and build prototypes for next-generation drones and autonomous systems, including maritime platforms.
• Design, integrate, and test mechanical and electronic components.
• Rapidly iterate concepts from idea to prototype to field testing.
• Solve complex mechanical challenges with lightweight, robust, and manufacturable designs.
• Support integration of sensors, electronics, and subsystems into operational prototypes.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on engineering mindset with proven prototyping experience.
• Good CAD skills (CATIA, Fusion 360 or similar).
• Solid understanding of mechanics, construction principles, and system integration.
• Experience assembling or integrating electronics.
• Practical experience with drones, UAVs, or autonomous systems.
• Strong spatial reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work fast and independently in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArduPilot, PX4, or comparable flight-control systems.
• Experience building, modifying, or operating drones.
• Familiarity with maritime systems, marine operations, or hydrodynamics.
• Background in marine engineering, boating, underwater systems, or autonomous maritime vehicles.
• Experience with rapid manufacturing methods (3D printing, CNC, composites).
