TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Cyberjaya, Malaysia)

What you will do

  • Translate functional and business requirements into technical designs and participate in backlog refinement.
  • Develop high-quality, performant, and reliable code using Java, Spring Boot, and frontend frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across all levels to ensure software quality.
  • Implement and optimize DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure using Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS EKS.
  • Collaborate within an Agile team, participating in all ceremonies and supporting junior engineers.
  • Support deployment and operation teams in maintaining delivery environments and repeatable releases.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and system-to-system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with both backend and frontend development (React, JavaScript, or Angular).
  • Practical experience with AWS microservices (EKS), Terraform, and CI/CD (Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of persistence technologies such as RDS, Redis, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Location: Must be based in or be able to work from Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
