What you will do

• Design and architect complex Spring Framework components for greenfield systems, balancing performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Own end-to-end delivery of critical backend features, including implementation, testing, and production support.
• Implement high-load system best practices such as API gateway patterns, resilient integrations, and caching strategies.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming to elevate the team's technical capability.
• Research emerging Java and Spring technologies to prototype and recommend new patterns and tools.
• Lead the definition of team standards for code quality, testing practices, and deployment patterns.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience with deep hands-on platform stack expertise.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Spring Framework ecosystem (Core, Boot, Data, Security, Cloud).
• Proven track record of architecting greenfield Spring applications designed for high request volumes.
• Deep JVM expertise in configuration, tuning, garbage collection, and memory management.
• Experience implementing robust API integrations using OAuth 2.0 and circuit breaker patterns.
• Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience creating AI-powered applications or integrating with MCP servers.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
