Associate Project Qa Lead (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Associate Project QA Lead (Gamedev): Overseeing day-to-day operations on the test floor and guiding a team of QA Testers through functionality and compliance testing of hirify.global products with an accent on project management, database administration, and team mentoring. Focus on ensuring bug reports meet standards, tracking high-severity issues, and evaluating tester performance.

Location: Must be onsite in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America, 5 days per week. Work arrangements may change at the company's discretion to meet business needs.

Salary: $19.23 - $35.58 Hourly

What you will do

• Assist in overall project management, including task assignment and tracking test team effectiveness.
• Collaborate in creating informative daily reports for Production and Management staff.
• Contribute to the development of effective test plans for console games.
• Assist in forming and improving QA systems and procedures.
• Manage the test team on a day-to-day basis and serve as Lead in the QA Project Lead's absence.
• Review issues entered by test teams to ensure bug reports meet hirify.global QA standards.

Requirements

• Proficient with Devtrack & Jira or similar bug tracking database.
• Able to identify defects in software titles and report them clearly and concisely.
• Capacity to create and implement innovative testing procedures and materials.
• Strong working knowledge of console platforms, PC Software/hardware, and Microsoft Office.
• 1+ year of experience working in the hirify.global QA Department or a comparable QA department.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Has been in a leadership role (Senior QA Tester and/or Acting Associate QA Project Lead).
