What you will do

• Translate electrical and plumbing schematics into configuration files and automation scripts for production.
• Own configuration changes during build and test, diagnosing root causes across software, electrical, and mechanical interfaces.
• Resolve complex system issues escalated from Manufacturing, Field Service, or Product Support.
• Evaluate customer requirements during pre-quote and order phases to identify configuration impacts and risks.
• Improve configuration architectures and scripting templates to reduce development time and error rates.
• Develop installation and imaging scripts and execute system-level testing to validate configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering (highly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience configuring or programming automation systems in a manufacturing or capital equipment environment.
• Experience with PLC or PC-based control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control documentation.
• Willingness to work on-site 3–5 days per week in Horsham, PA.

Nice to have

• Experience developing automation scripts using ladder logic, function block, or structured text.
• Semiconductor or advanced packaging equipment experience.
• Administrator-level proficiency with Microsoft Windows systems.
