What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot 3 on GCP.
• Own the full development lifecycle for new platform features, from design and requirements to testing and deployment.
• Tackle complex Shopify GraphQL API integrations and business logic in accounting and e-commerce domains.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate on code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend development with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise; experience with AI coding tools and drive for AI adoption.
• Structured mindset for breaking down problems, clarifying requirements, and designing clean architectures.
• Deep experience with Shopify GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms, preferably GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, PubSub).
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills in ambiguous situations.
• Strong collaboration with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab), and agile practices.

• Released embedded Shopify App with Polaris.
• Experience in fast-paced SaaS environments.
