Associate Staff Engineer (Automation QA) (Playwright/TypeScript): Developing and optimizing UI and API automation frameworks with an accent on scalability and reliability. Focus on building automated scripts, improving QE processes, and mitigating technical risks within Agile teams.

Location: Remote (Must be based in China)

What you will do

Develop and improve test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Create comprehensive automated scripts for both UI and API layers.
Identify gaps in the QE process and implement necessary improvements.
Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in all ceremonies.
Identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks.
Perform manual testing on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

Proficiency in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proven experience in UI and API automation testing.
Experience with Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks.
Must be based in China (Service Region: China)

Nice to have

Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-powered coding agent tools.
