Network & Security Engineer

TL;DR

Network & Security Engineer (Juniper/Aruba): Deliver project and BAU support activities onsite for key enterprise customer with an accent on network troubleshooting, infrastructure configuration, and wireless deployments. Focus on resolving incidents within SLAs, liaising with stakeholders, and mentoring junior engineer.

Location: Hybrid – onsite in Nuneaton, UK a minimum of 3 days per week

Salary: £50,000 – £56,000

What you will do

• Deliver project and BAU support activities onsite for key enterprise customer
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents while managing priorities within SLAs
• Configure, install, commission, and support network infrastructure equipment
• Liaise directly with stakeholders and provide regular technical updates
• Support wireless deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades
• Manage and mentor a junior engineer; participate in occasional out-of-hours support

Requirements

• 3+ years in Network Engineering or Network Security roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking technologies (switching, routing, firewalls)
• Experience configuring and supporting Aruba wireless environments (controllers, access points)
• Comfortable with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and fault finding
• Strong communication skills with customer-focused approach; able to prioritise in fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications such as JNCIA, ACNT, or related degree highly desirable
