Location: 100% remote, must be located in the United States with availability to overlap at least 6 hours with Central Time (CT).

Hourly range: $45.00 to $50.00

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Next.js
• Build and maintain fullstack features across backend and frontend layers
• Architect efficient data flows for performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile ceremonies including planning and workshops
• Contribute to MVP delivery and ongoing product improvements
• Participate in code reviews and pairing sessions to uphold engineering standards

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional development experience
• 4+ years with TypeScript in production-grade applications
• Strong backend experience with Next.js (API routes, server-side logic, architecture)
• Solid React experience for modern, responsive UIs
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Strong backend architecture, performance, and scalability knowledge
• Advanced spoken and written English
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Documentation as Code (DaC) workflows
• Familiarity with Remark and MDX
• Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Containerization (e.g., Docker)
