What you will do

• Architect and evolve Android automation framework to support growing portfolio of security products.
• Design testing strategies for VPN challenges, including network-dependent flows and unstable connections.
• Collaborate with developers and QAs to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed bug reports.
• Uphold QA best practices and contribute to QA strategy.
• Explore new testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in automating UI tests for Android apps written in Kotlin.
• Strong expertise with Espresso and Kakao-Cup for testing Jetpack Compose and classic XML screens.
• Experience with Robolectric and Mockito for test infrastructure and mocking.
• Comfortable building pipelines in CircleCI and using Bash/sh scripting.
• Experience sharding tests with Flank and configuring device matrices in Firebase Test Lab.
• Understanding of VPN testing challenges like network flows and connection flakiness.
• At least upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining UI test suites across multiple apps in mono- and multi-repo setups.
• Comfort with ADB, log analysis, and Android build process via Gradle (Kotlin DSL).
• Experience testing A/B frameworks and feature-flagged flows.
• Familiarity with Google Play Billing integrations.
