TL;DR

QA Automation Engineer (AI): Developing automated tests for Restaurant POS products with an accent on API and UI automation using AI tools. Focus on integrating AI into the QA lifecycle, building reusable test components, and ensuring product quality across cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid (Minsk), 4 days a week in-office work required. Overlap of at least 3 hours with US Eastern time zone (EST) is mandatory.

What you will do

  • Build automated tests for APIs and UIs with a focus on creating reusable test components.
  • Create detailed test plans and test cases covering functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Integrate AI tools into every stage of the QA process, from test case determination to code maintenance.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers across Minsk, Israel, and the U.S.
  • Write detailed bug reports and perform regression tests to ensure system stability.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies to increase team velocity.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Cypress or Appium.
  • Experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor in daily workflows.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman.
  • Must be based in Minsk for 4 days/week office attendance.
  • Good English skills (spoken and written).

Nice to have

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and involvement in DevOps practices.
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks and mobile-specific challenges.
  • Experience with AI-powered testing tools such as Mabl, Testim, or Applitools.
