What you will do

• Operate within the Contracting & Commercial Capability Framework, ensuring compliance, governance, and standardised processes.
• Lead contract negotiations, manage commercial performance, risks, and change across projects in airports, infrastructure, ports, borders, and defence.
• Draft RFPs/contracts for subcontractors, support bids/RFQs, and act as primary contact for commercial administration.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, procurement, finance, and delivery teams to provide commercial guidance throughout project lifecycles.
• Mentor team members, apply lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement using analytics and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, security, health, safety, and environment policies.

Requirements

• Internationally recognised qualification in Commercial or Contract Management (essential).
• Degree (HND minimum) in Business, Law, Project Management, or similar (desirable).
• Proven experience in contract and commercial management in complex organisations, high-tech equipment supply, and subcontract management.
• Knowledge of contract law, risk management, negotiation, lifecycle management, and project methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Strong communication, organisation, and influence skills in multicultural, matrix environments.
• Familiarity with standard contract forms (e.g., NEC3, IET MF/1) and export controls (desirable).
