What you will do

• Process applicants through security procedures, including verifying information, identity, citizenship, fingerprinting, and biometric photos.
• Prepare security documentation and participate in new employee onboarding.
• Maintain databases, ensure quality control, and conduct badging processes.
• Troubleshoot badge equipment issues and brief customers on security processes.
• Provide process improvement recommendations and administrative support.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Silver Spring, MD
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with HSPD-12 and FIPS 201-1 requirements
• Good knowledge of MS Office 365

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher
• 2+ years in security field, preferably federal personnel security
• Familiarity with ServiceNow
