What you will do

  • Process and analyze time-series data from vehicle sensors using advanced signal processing in time and frequency domains.
  • Develop data-driven and physics-based simulation models for vehicle component wear, especially tires and brakes.
  • Design, implement, and optimize numerical and control-oriented models for vehicle dynamics using model-based development.
  • Translate models into production-ready functions and deploy on embedded systems (ECUs) with code generation and integration.
  • Manage customer deployments and core development/research activities.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate models into automotive architectures.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in physical modelling and system-based approaches for vehicle dynamics, motion control, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, control systems, and signal processing.
  • Hands-on experience in model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink) and transforming models to embedded software functions.
  • Experience with deployment and integration on embedded systems (ECUs), including code generation.
  • Degree in electronics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • MATLAB/Simulink required; Python or C a strong plus.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
  • Previous experience in ASPICE development.
