What you will do

• Support operational execution and governance of U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance, including preparation and review of filings.
• Manage tax withholding, reporting, documentation, internal controls, risk assessments, and workflows for audit readiness.
• Provide expertise in corporate and partnership returns, K-1 allocations, BEAT, CAMT, and IRS obligations.
• Identify process improvements, automation, system upgrades, and integration of tax workflows with finance systems.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Business units, manage vendors, and handle regulatory inquiries.
• Prepare tax data for reporting, analytics, financial provisions, and estimated payments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related; advanced degree or CPA/JD/LLM preferred.
• 4–7+ years in U.S. tax operations or compliance, ideally in financial services or banking.
• Expertise in U.S. tax compliance, corporate/partnership structures, federal and multi-state rules.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail for complex tax requirements.
• Location: New York, NY required.
