What you will do

• Select and evaluate off-the-shelf hardware modules for compute, cameras, radios, and power management.
• Design and bring up integrated assemblies, validating them against strict performance and environmental requirements.
• Author and execute comprehensive test plans for NPI gate reviews including PROTO, EVT, DVT, and PVT.
• Lead hardware triage and root cause analysis (RCA) for field deployments and production runs.
• Define acceptance criteria and transfer test methodologies to contract manufacturers for scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional hardware engineering experience across multiple product development phases.
• Strong fundamentals in datasheet analysis, signal integrity, and thermal behavior.
• Proven experience taking hardware through full EVT-to-PVT cycles.
• Proficiency with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal cameras.

Nice to have

• Mechanical engineering familiarity or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering concepts like MTBF, HALT/HASS, and derating.
• Experience with cellular/LTE, Wi-Fi, or RF-adjacent debugging.
• Exposure to camera systems and ISP pipelines.
• Ability to write automated validation scripts in Python.
