What you will do

• Serve as a security subject matter expert (SME) for solution engineering, architecture reviews, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Lead technical efforts in evaluating, designing, and implementing new enterprise security systems and features.
• Build and enhance custom automation and cloud infrastructure using Terraform to support security controls.
• Develop API integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to improve detection, response, and remediation.
• Write and maintain Python-based scripts to streamline security operations.
• Establish monitoring and alerting for security posture and threats across endpoints, SaaS, and cloud workloads.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with enterprise tools: hirify.global, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto suite (EDR, CASB, DLP, MDM, SASE, SSPM).
• Strong coding and scripting skills, with a preference for Python (Bash, PowerShell, or Go are pluses).
• Proven track record of automating security controls and workflows using a cloud-first approach.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for security automation and drift management.
• Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for a hybrid work arrangement.

• Experience with advanced identity management technologies (MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, WebAuthn).
• Deep understanding and advanced configuration of the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Experience with continuous compliance solutions and policy-as-code.
