TL;DR

Talent Development Specialist (L&D): Designing and delivering scalable learning experiences and leadership programs with an accent on adult learning principles and AI-enabled tools. Focus on translating business needs into impactful learning solutions, facilitating workshops, and managing the leadership development pathway.

Location: Hybrid in Montreal (St. Laurent)

What you will do

  • Design and deliver leadership development programs (e.g., Leaders 101) and learning initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and stakeholders to diagnose needs and create actionable learning roadmaps.
  • Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person workshops, cohorts, and simulations for global audiences.
  • Develop e-learning, microlearning, and toolkits using adult learning and instructional design best practices.
  • Leverage AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to accelerate content creation and enhance learner engagement.
  • Measure learning effectiveness and optimize programs based on evaluation data and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in talent development, L&D, or talent management.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and French, written and spoken.
  • Proven experience facilitating learning experiences in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and modern L&D practices.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Montreal (St. Laurent) for a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise.
  • Familiarity with competency frameworks, succession planning, or performance management.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Background in adult education or collaborating with external learning vendors.
