TL;DR

Manager, Security Incident Response Team (Cybersecurity): Lead the SIRT in the Americas region, managing cybersecurity incidents across hirify.global environments with an accent on threat hunting, investigations, and process improvements. Focus on coaching engineers, leading high-severity responses, and leveraging AI/automation to optimize workflows and shift defenses left.

Location: United States Citizen required (by law, birth, or naturalization); availability during US West Coast business hours required; West Coast preferred; some after-hours/weekend coverage

Salary: $150,000 - $235,000 USD

What you will do

  • Manage team operations, set goals and expectations, monitor progress, and ensure quality results.
  • Coach and develop incident responders with feedback and career growth support.
  • Hire talent, drive engagement, retention, and psychological safety.
  • Implement and mature incident response processes, runbooks, and capabilities.
  • Lead high-severity incidents as escalation point and commander, including nights/weekends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve incidents and improve security posture.

Requirements

  • United States Citizen required due to government requirements
  • Proven people management of security engineers with coaching and accountability.
  • Incident response leadership experience across full lifecycle, triage to retrospective.
  • Hands-on technical skills in investigations, SIEM (Splunk, Elastic), GCP/AWS forensics.
  • Threat hunting, supply chain threats, AI/automation for workflows.
  • Platform experience with hirify.global or similar DevSecOps tools; prioritization under pressure.

Nice to have

  • Customer-facing experience in escalations and cybersecurity discussions.
  • Experience responding to threats against SaaS platforms.
