Salary: $150,000 - $235,000 USD

What you will do
- Manage team operations, set goals and expectations, monitor progress, and ensure quality results.
- Coach and develop incident responders with feedback and career growth support.
- Hire talent, drive engagement, retention, and psychological safety.
- Implement and mature incident response processes, runbooks, and capabilities.
- Lead high-severity incidents as escalation point and commander, including nights/weekends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve incidents and improve security posture.
Requirements
- United States Citizen required due to government requirements
- Proven people management of security engineers with coaching and accountability.
- Incident response leadership experience across full lifecycle, triage to retrospective.
- Hands-on technical skills in investigations, SIEM (Splunk, Elastic), GCP/AWS forensics.
- Threat hunting, supply chain threats, AI/automation for workflows.
- Platform experience with or similar DevSecOps tools; prioritization under pressure.
Nice to have
- Customer-facing experience in escalations and cybersecurity discussions.
- Experience responding to threats against SaaS platforms.
