What you will do

• Obtain blood specimens via venipunctures and finger sticks.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic techniques and following department isolation procedures.
• Manage logistical printing of patient reports and coordinate pick-ups with courier services like FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle billing queries and triaging for patients.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA/PHI privacy and security regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy Certificate (if required by State).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Schertz, TX.
