About the Role

You will turn business requirements into working scripts, services, and internal tools with end-to-end ownership. You will build automation to solve operational problems, integrate external and internal APIs to move data and trigger actions, and develop temporary instrumentation to validate features or campaigns. You will perform light analysis on produced data, support deployed solutions, and contribute to data warehouse ingestion and pipeline work.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills for production-grade automation, integrations, or backend services
• Strong SQL skills including joins, window functions, and query optimization
• Hands-on experience integrating with third-party REST APIs including authentication, pagination, rate limiting, and error handling
• Working knowledge of Git-based workflows, code review, testing, and deploying services to Linux (Docker, CI/CD)
• Experience designing and operating scheduled jobs, background workers, or event-driven processes (cron, Airflow, Celery, queues)
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services (nice to have)
• Exposure to analytics, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT pipelines (nice to have)
• Experience building structured reports or dashboards (nice to have)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Build automation and internal tools that address operational problems
• Integrate with external and internal APIs to move data and trigger actions
• Translate ambiguous requests into scoped, built, shipped, and supported solutions
• Develop temporary instrumentation to validate product features or measure campaigns and decommission it when no longer required
• Perform light analysis on tool-produced data to answer business questions
• Contribute to data warehouse ingestion and pipeline work
