TL;DR
IT Manager (Infrastructure): Managing internal technology environment and operational health for a global AI-native platform with an accent on SOX compliance, identity and access management (IAM), and internal automation. Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL (In-person attendance required Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Salary: $125,012 – $166,682

What you will do
- Manage and optimize Mac-first, Google Workspace environment across multiple US offices.
- Oversee IT helpdesk support, hardware lifecycle, and onboarding/offboarding workflows.
- Own IT General Controls (ITGCs) and serve as the primary point of contact for SOX compliance and external auditors.
- Lead workflow automation projects using Workato to reduce manual effort across cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate and implement AI tools to improve IT operations efficiency and establish governance guardrails.
- Manage and mentor a distributed team of 2 full-time engineers and 3 contractors.
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or senior lead capacity.
- Proven experience owning SOX ITGCs and working directly with external auditors.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Mac-first environments and Google Workspace administration.
- Administration experience with IAM platforms such as OneLogin or Okta.
- Experience building and managing workflows using iPaaS tools, specifically Workato.
- Must be based in Chicago to support the hybrid office requirement.
Nice to have
- Experience at an AI-native or AI-forward tech company.
- Experience transitioning between in-house helpdesk and managed/outsourced models.
- Familiarity with the operational demands of a public or recently IPO'd tech company.
