What you will do

• Facilitate architectural patterns between business, technology leaders, and delivery teams on Google Cloud.
• Design solution architecture, POC, and MVP workloads including databases, data pipelines, orchestration, security, and migrations.
• Perform database migrations from Teradata, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle to BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
• Setup Google Cloud components via Infrastructure as Code.
• Provide education workshops, architectural recommendations, and technology reviews as Google Cloud expert.

Requirements

• 5+ years database management and IT experience
• 2+ years Google Cloud experience with Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Functions
• Experience designing data models in BigQuery
• Advanced SQL skills: write, tune, interpret queries; experience with dbt or Dataform
• Advanced Python skills: Spark, Beam, Pandas; orchestration like Airflow; APIs with GraphQL, FastAPI, etc.
• Experience migrating databases like Teradata to BigQuery, MySQL/Postgres/Oracle to Cloud SQL

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional Architect or Data Engineer Certification
• Healthcare industry experience, FHIR stores, Healthcare API/Data Engine
