Backend Engineer (.NET/TypeScript): Building and evolving modern digital products and scalable backend services for an AI-driven media platform with an accent on composable architectures and data-driven solutions. Focus on developing APIs, implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform in Azure, and integrating headless SaaS tools.

Location: Manchester, UK. Hybrid (around 4 days a week in office). Requires the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve digital products using C#, TypeScript, and React (Next.js/Remix).
• Develop APIs and backend services using .NET Core and relational databases.
• Deploy infrastructure in Azure using App Services, Functions, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Strategy, and DevOps specialists to co-create outcome-focused solutions.
• Integrate headless SaaS tools such as Contentful, DatoCMS, Prismic, and Algolia.
• Implement DevOps and performance engineering practices including caching and observability.

Requirements

• Experience with C# / .NET Core, TypeScript, and React (Next.js / Remix).
• Solid understanding of relational database design and API development.
• Practical experience deploying to Azure using Terraform.
• Familiarity with headless CMS and composable architectures.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
