What you will do

• Provide technical support for FSTDs, including maintenance calls, device setup, conversions, and simulator flight tests.
• Independently perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness, recurrent QTG runs, and database updates.
• Diagnose and resolve critical training device issues, including Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events and National Aviation Authority (NAA) deficiencies.
• Perform hardware refurbishment and modifications while developing permanent corrective solutions for recurring issues.
• Mentor junior colleagues through On-the-Job Training (OJT) and support complex maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with FSTD Technical Specialists on advanced testing and support special operational projects.

Requirements

• Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience supporting Flight Simulation Training Devices or comparable technical systems.
• English: C1 (Excellent command written and spoken) required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electronic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, drawings, and FSTD-related documentation.
• Location: Must be based in Doha, Qatar.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in lead roles such as Shift Lead, Team Lead, or Device Caretaker.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or technicians in a simulator environment.
• Exposure to QTG activities, simulator acceptance processes, or authority-related evaluations.
