TL;DR
VP, Cloud Security Architecture (AWS): Driving the secure migration of financial workloads from on-premises to AWS with an accent on hybrid cloud networking and infrastructure as code. Focus on designing security guardrails, enforcing the Principle of Least Privilege, and integrating security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the US and able to commute to a Hub)
Salary: $155,000 - $260,000 Annual

What you will do
- Design secure pathways for migrating critical on-premises workloads and sensitive data to AWS.
- Architect and enforce security controls for hybrid cloud networking, including Direct Connect and Transit Gateway.
- Implement security guardrails and governance policies directly into infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with IAM architects to strictly enforce the Principle of Least Privilege across all AWS accounts.
- Govern the strategy for integrating SAST, DAST, and SCA security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Translate regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOC 2 into actionable technical security designs.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship is provided.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or 12+ years of equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience securing large-scale production solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven expertise in securing on-premises to cloud migration and hybrid connectivity.
- Deep practical mastery of AWS security services including IAM, KMS, VPC, and Security Hub.
- High proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Nice to have
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Checkmarx, Veracode, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite.
