Salary: $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly

What you will do

• Develop interactive stories consistent with company game philosophy and overarching project vision.
• Champion a story vision through the definition of structure, character, and theme.
• Develop and implement narrative assets for gameplay, audio, and art, including debugging and mastering narrative tools.
• Analyze gameplay elements to ensure they align with the story and propose collaborative solutions for conflicts.
• Write cinematic scripts, in-game copy, story bibles, pitch documentation, and promotional copy.
• Promote high standards in storytelling through consistent feedback and direction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of game development experience.
• 1-2+ shipped titles with a narrative design or writing credit.
• Bachelor’s degree in a creative or communication-focused field or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent creative writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of game production and passion for interactive media.
• Must be based in the USA or eligible to work in the US.
