What you will do

• Participate in system design and architecture discussions to build scalable products.
• Translate product needs into technical requirements in collaboration with product teams.
• Develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready code for data science solutions.
• Perform code reviews to optimize technical performance and ensure reliability.
• Support production systems, resolve incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Apply SDLC practices and share knowledge with the wider engineering community.

Requirements

• Higher degree in engineering, computer science, maths, or science.
• Commercial experience contributing to high-impact Data Science projects in complex organizations.
• Fluency in Python and proficiency with version control (Git).
• Experience building solutions in the cloud, ideally Azure, and using Apache Spark.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Splunk or Grafana.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

Nice to have

• Awareness of emerging MLOps practices, such as feature stores and model lifecycle management.
