What you will do

• Lead the design and development of TimescaleDB Enterprise, the on-prem deployment and management platform.
• Build core capabilities including management consoles, deployment workflows, and operational tooling.
• Own technical decisions across the product lifecycle, balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Partner with enterprise customers to translate operational requirements into pragmatic product solutions.
• Drive new feature development while improving reliability and operational simplicity.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Support, and Sales.

Requirements

• Experience building developer platforms, enterprise software, or database-adjacent systems.
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools to accelerate development and debugging.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, distributed systems, and deployment automation.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-moving startup environments.
• Must be based in the United States.
