What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives within the Android Kiosk domain and design scalable software solutions.
• Develop full-stack application components, from backend integrations to UI implementation.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technology strategy, and long-term engineering goals.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and QA to refine requirements and implement automated testing strategies.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and manage technical debt.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable systems.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred), Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven track record of leading complex development projects and technical initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and quality engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with hardware integrations and peripheral device communication (scanners, printers, sensors).
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and logging solutions.
• Experience with Android XML and Jetpack Compose UI systems.
• Familiarity with Dagger, Retrofit, and related Android frameworks.
