What you will do

• Create and illustrate UI assets, focusing heavily on icons and interface layouts.
• Design and iterate on UI layouts to enhance clarity, usability, and player immersion.
• Integrate UI assets into the game using an in-house engine based on Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and artists to align UI with gameplay and technical constraints.
• Support the evolution of UI systems for a live game environment through updates and new content.
• Ensure visual consistency and high quality across all UI elements.

Requirements

• Solid experience in UI art with a strong illustration background, specifically in icon design.
• A portfolio showcasing UI layout design and icon illustration (character icons are a plus).
• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine or a similar UI system.
• Must be based in Montreal, QC for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a live game environment.
• Knowledge of basic motion design or UI animation.
