What you will do

• Create high-quality character animations by applying core animation principles.
• Translate mocap data into expressive, believable character movements for gameplay and storytelling.
• Integrate finished animations into the Unreal Engine.
• Define, structure, and evolve animation pipelines and workflows to ensure best practices.
• Act as a mentor and support for the lead animator, guiding team members toward shared goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional animation experience within the gaming industry.
• Proficiency with game engines and DCC tools such as Unreal, Unity, and Autodesk Maya.
• Solid understanding of animation tools and basic knowledge of rigging concepts.
• Experience with video game production pipelines.
• Must be based in Montreal, QC for a hybrid work arrangement.
