What you will do
- Design, install, and qualify process control and automation solutions (SCADA, PLC, HMI) for commercial and clinical manufacturing.
- Integrate control systems and instrumentation to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards through validation protocols and support for quality systems.
- Identify and implement process optimizations to enhance system reliability and reduce costs.
- Provide 24/7 technical support for automation systems, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Manage small OPEX/CAPEX projects from initial conception to final closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in process control/automation, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency with Rockwell PLCs/HMIs, Wonderware System Platform, and SQL databases.
- Experience with networking, communication protocols, and Microsoft Server administration.
- Experience with validation processes, including writing URS, FDS, and test protocols.
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and potential shift coverage.
Nice to have
- Experience with Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical environment.
