iOS Engineer II (Swift, IoT)

Location: On-site in Boston, MA. Must be based in or be able to relocate to Boston.

Salary: $125,000–$175,000

What you will do

• Build and maintain iOS components interfacing with hardware via BLE, Wi-Fi, and related protocols.
• Develop background and system-level services for device connectivity and synchronization.
• Write maintainable Swift code using Combine and modern concurrency patterns.
• Collaborate with firmware and cloud engineers to resolve distributed system issues.
• Optimize the reliability, performance, and battery efficiency of the connectivity experience.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes for the iOS application.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional iOS software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and iOS system APIs, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience with asynchronous and reactive programming (async/await, Combine).
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with BLE, Core Bluetooth, or other device connectivity technologies.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networking and low-level communication protocols.
• Experience with IoT systems or hardware-integrated mobile apps.
