TL;DR
Costing Specialist (SAP): Defining and updating material costs in SAP, valuing product BOMs, and preparing cost information for procurement and new product industrialization with an accent on technical cost estimation, supplier RFQs, and drawing analysis. Focus on interpreting mechanical and electrical specifications, maintaining consistency across SAP, K.Procure, and PowerBI, and supporting complex product structures.

What you will do
- Maintain updated and reliable costs for materials and components in SAP.
- Prepare cost estimates using comparable ERP materials, raw materials, weight, manufacturing process, and complexity.
- Launch supplier price inquiries through the K.Procure e-procurement platform when internal estimation is not possible.
- Interpret 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and electrical part specifications to identify cost-driving characteristics.
- Collaborate with R&D and product owners on new parts and product modifications.
- Support BOM valuation during product industrialization, annual contract updates, and reporting across K.Procure, SAP, and PowerBI.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings in 2D and 3D.
- Strong understanding of product structures and bills of materials.
- Knowledge of catalog parts such as screws, bearings, wiring, circuit breakers, PLCs, and sensors.
- Experience with SAP MM or another industrial ERP; fluent English and a proactive, hands-on approach.
