What you will do

• Perform circuit design and schematic capture for multi-gigabit fiber optic transport systems
• Conduct timing analysis and simulation of critical high-speed interfaces
• Execute hardware bring-up and debugging of initial prototypes using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and other test equipment
• Develop and execute hardware verification plans
• Assist with large-scale high-speed signal testing via automated data acquisition techniques

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in BS or MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related program
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuits
• Familiarity with embedded microcontrollers
• Familiarity with programmable logic devices such as CPLDs and FPGAs
• Familiarity with lab test equipment and measurement techniques
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; initiative, enthusiasm, and desire to learn

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout tools
• Experience designing and debugging hardware
