Senior Software Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java/React): Developing new features, maintaining loyalty products, and improving infrastructure for customer engagement in pet e-commerce with an accent on microservices, event-driven architectures, and high-quality delivery. Location: Madrid, Spain - hybrid working (60% office, 40% remote), offices also in Munich, Krakow, Wroclaw, London, Vienna. Fluent English required as working language.

What you will do

• Develop new features and maintain loyalty products to boost customer engagement.
• Improve infrastructure using continuous delivery, clean code, and DevOps mindset.
• Collaborate in Scrum teams with pair programming, peer reviews, and cross-functional contributions.
• Work with microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud deployments on AWS.
• Share knowledge and learn from multinational team members in agile environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years software development experience
• Solid experience with Java 8+ or Kotlin (Python nice-to-have)
• Strong clean code principles, microservices, event-driven architectures
• Relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), design patterns
• Fluent English for communication across international teams
• Interest in DevOps "you build it, you run it" philosophy
