What you will do

• Maintain and tune Microsoft Sentinel detection rules, manage data connectors, and reduce alert noise.
• Operate and optimize Defender XDR and Defender for Cloud, including policy management.
• Harden the Azure environment across identity, access management, networking, storage, and logging.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep) for security tooling and configuration management.
• Triage, investigate, and contain suspicious activity surfaced through security tooling.
• Coordinate penetration test engagements and work with engineering teams to prioritize remediation.

Requirements

• Hands-on SIEM experience, ideally with Microsoft Sentinel.
• Practical Azure security experience (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Azure networking).
• Proficiency in writing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Ability to perform threat modelling and communicate risks to technical audiences.
• Experience managing penetration testing programs and remediation cycles.
• Must be based in London for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst) certification.
• KQL proficiency for detection rule authoring and threat hunting.
• Experience working in a fintech or financial services environment.
